Thursday was 100yen conveyor belt sushi and Jeff's.

Friday we had a lovely Arigatou party organized by the wonderful Nick and Marie, to which pretty much everyone we've got to know in Kumamoto was invited. Afterwards was karaoke, Jeff's, and even Sanctuary for a little bit. I had to work early on Saturday morning so I missed some of the more drunken antics.

Saturday I worked, then caught up on a bit of sleep in the afternoon, and made it out to Jeff's again with Rick.

Sunday Ellie, Tom and I cycled into town to go to a performance of Kyogen - a traditional comedy style - with Megan and Sabine. We tried an indian cafe place after that, then Tom had to leave us to go to his rowing club farewell night - 3 nomikais!. Us girls did a spot of shopping then went to the Sligo Inn to see the Irish band, where Nick had more than one of his traditional mixed cheese pizzas. I did make it to Jeff's that night, but only for five minutes. Too tired!

Monday was a public holiday( I have no idea what for) and we had a bit of a casual barbecue in the park, casual meaning I told everyone to bring something to share, instead of organizing the food. I got lots of study done that day and the next, for my two exams on Wednesday ( french and kanji) which meant I didn't feel too bad about going to Simon's farewell/birthday party on Tuesday night. It started off at the Tsuruya beer garden, and when we closed that place (it shuts at ten though) we went to ... Jeff's again. Levi and Rick were already there. That was a fun night, it was nice to catch up with Simon again, even though I'll be seeing him in Sydney soon enough. I went home earlyish to get some sleep before my exams, which both went well.

Wednesday was Joyfull with Nick, Tom and Chie. Thursday was sending packages to Australia (Thank you so much for the help Tom!) and work, then I ran into Marie and Tomomi and got something to eat with them. I was still in town so I decided maybe I could go to Jeff's for just one drink, but no-one was there so I just came straight home.
